Location: One Fullerton, Singapore
The name Usqubais derived from the Gaelic term Usquebagh meaning Water of Life, or simply whisky. Armed with an impressive sharpness to the smallest of details, our brief was to come up with a custom made light sculpture that would covering three-fourths of the restaurant. The restaurant overlooked the signature Marina Bay building and the Singapore mascot, Merlion. We picked up cues from whisky and water and created some forms around them. Further working on conceptualization we finally zeroed on the idea of a water body travelling around the interiors. Soft edges, owypattern, mix of well prepared colors, emotions and drama were all combined in this statement piece, which grabs the attention of anyone that enters the place.

Interior Details: The interiors are modern and minimal. The asymmetrical elevated space surrounding the lake and the signature buildings outside demanded that we create some drama inside to draw attention. Therefore the concept of whiskey waters chandelier came up, which is made up of Rio elements that are woven into the ceiling , with dim lighting that marks the statement for this high end restaurant bar .
